As the retail pioneers of Orchard Street, Design Developement Concepts introduced DDCLAB to then "undiscovered Lower East Side of New York City in 1998. Complete with an espresso bar, DDCLAB has since been called an "over night success" and is credited with creating the hipster scene that now exists in the area. DDCLAB's concept has continued to attract and engage fashion innovators and trendsetters and has a wide range of clientelethat ranges from fashion designers to fashion divas, actors to independent film buffs, architects to DIY home decorators, hip-hops's hottest to the kings and queens of indie rock (and everyone in between.)
